Our History
Artisan Sheet Metal was started in August of 2011 but brings a very rich history and a solid reputation in sheet metal work throughout the Southern California area that has roots that go back many years to Simmons Sheet Metal. Marshall Simmons is second generation having taken over the business from his father in 1989. Unfortunately Simmons Sheet Metal had to close in 2010 after 42 years of success due to pressures caused by the recession but Artisan soon arose to take it's place and has now picked up where Simmons Sheet Metal left off.
Marshall has over 40 years of real-time hands-on experience in bidding, project management, fabrication and installation of all types of sheet metal and related specialties. That experience together with an engineering degree gives him an edge on the completion.
Today Artisan is engaged in commercial, industrial, retail and specialty work with a wide and respected clientele base. We work all over SoCal and on all types of projects ranging from small remodels to large industrial or commercial sites. Artisan brings to the table experience and knowledge to fit any need or requirement of the ever changing construction industry. Whatever your sheet metal needs are Artisan has the skill and experience to get the job done.
